Biography
BORN 30TH NOVEMBER, 1966. ATTENDED PRIMARY AT ST. CLEMENTINA, STATE SCHOOL (NOW COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL OZUOBA TOWN, PORT HARCOURT WHERE I OBTAINED MY FIRST SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE IN 1979; ATTENDED HOLY ROSARY GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL, PORT HARCOURT FROM 1979 TO 1983 WHERE I OBTAINED THE WEST AFRICA SCHOOL CERTIFICATE; ATTENDED UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT WHERE I OBTAINED THE FOLLOWING DEGREES: BACHELOR OF ART DEGREE IN HISTORY 1997, BA (ECONOMIC/POLITICAL HISTORY 2002), PGDE 2009. IN 2003, I ENROLLED FOR A DOCTORATE PROGRAMME AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR AND IN 2007 I OBTAINED A PhD IN ECONOMIC/POLITICAL HISTORY AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES. I HAVE PUBLISHED IN SEVERAL JOURNALS (BOTH INTERNATIONALLLY AND LOCALLY) AND HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO SEVERAL BOOKS; CO-EDITED SEVERAL BOOKS AND I HAVE WRITTEN SEVERAL BOOKS. AT PRESENT, I AM A SENIOR LECTURER WITH THE IGNATIUS AJURU UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, PORT HARCOURT. I HAVE ATTENDED AND PRESENTED SEVERAL SCHOLARLY LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL SEMINARS/CONFERENCES, I HAVE BEING AWARDED FELLOWSHIPS IN SEVERAL REPUTABLE INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION. I AM A MEMBER OF THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF NIGERIA.
