BORN 22 JANUARY, 1964 AT LAGOS, NIGERIA. ATTENDED SACRED HART STATE SCHOOL, PORT HARCOURT, WHERE I OBTAINED MY FIRST SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE IN 1976; ATTENDED CITC PORT HARCOURT, WHERE I OBTAINED THE WEST AFRICA SCHOOL CERTIFICATE IN 1980; ATTENDED TRANS WORLD TUTORIAL COLLEGE LONDON, WHERE I OBTAINED DIPLOMA IN HIGHER ENGLISH IN 1983 AND ALSO ATTENDED THE SOCIETY OF BUSINESS PRACTITIONERS, CHESHIRE ENGLAND WHERE I OBTAINED THE DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS STUDIES IN 1984. ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF JOS, WHERE I OBTAINED THE BACHELOR OF LAWS DEGREE LLB HONORS IN 1994, ATTENDED THE NIGERIA LAW SCHOOL WHERE I WAS CALLED TO THE NIGERIA BAR AS A BARRISTER AND SOLICITOR OF THE SUPREME COURT OF NIGERIA (BL) IN 1995; ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT WHERE I OBTAINED THE MSc DEGREE IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS IN 1999; ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF UYO WHERE I OBTAINED THE MASTERS OF LAW (LLM) IN 2005; ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR WHERE I OBTAINED PhD IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND STRATEGIES STUDIES IN 2008.
